Rick Copeland is the co-founder and CTO of Synapp.io, a startup providing a software platform to help business invest their digital marketing efforts (particularly email) more effectively. Rick literally wrote the book(s) on database design: O’Reilly’s MongoDB Applied Design Patterns and Essential SQLAlchemy. He is a member of the Python Software Foundation and the Masters of MongoDB. Previously, Rick was a software engineer with SourceForge, where he helped reinvent and open-source the SourceForge platform as the Allura project.
