<h3>Email</h3>
<p>Flashpoint participants have access to a gatech.edu email address. To get your account, you first need to secure a <a data-toggle="tab" href="#Buzzcard">Buzzcard</a>. You will be notified by the Operations Team that your mailbox has been created. Then:</p><br>
<ol>
<li>Set up your Georgia Tech Passport account. Visit the Passport website and click on “I need to setup my GT account.” Follow the instructions. Select the “Employee” option when prompted.</li>
<li>Visit <a href="http://mail.gatech.edu">mail.gatech.edu</a> and log in using your Passport credentials.</li>

<h3>Flashpoint Library</h3>
<p>We maintain a small library of books related to behavioral economics, startups, product design, and sales. Many of these books will be referenced during your time at Flashpoint. As a member of the Flashpoint community, you can borrow these titles to support your understanding of startup engineering.</p><br>

<p>If you think there is a book that we should add to our library, please let a member of the operations know and we'll consider purchasing a few copies.</p><br>

<h3>Flashpoint Hours</h3>
<p>As a participant in Flashpoint, you are allowed to access the space 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.</p><br>
<p>The Flashpoint space can be accessed without a Buzzcard between 9 AM and 5 PM, Monday to Friday. Outside of these times, you will need to use your <a data-toggle="tab" href="#Buzzcard">Buzzcard</a> for the elevator and the entrance to Flashpoint.</p><br>
<p>If you're having problems with your Buzzcard, visit with the Operations Team.</p><br>

<h3>GT Fitness Center</h3>
<p>As a part of the Flashpoint program, you can access Georgia Tech's world class fitness facility, the <a href="http://www.crc.gatech.edu/">CRC (Campus Recreation Center)</a>. A <a data-toggle="tab" href="#Buzzcard">Buzzcard</a> and monthly membership ($24) are required. To secure membership, bring the forms provided <a href="http://www.crc.gatech.edu/content/271/member-services-forms">here</a> on your first visit.</p><br>
<p>The CRC features the following amenities:</p><br>

<li>15,000 sq.ft. fitness center with weight machines, free weights, and
cardiovascular equipment with built in LCD television screens.</li>
<li>39-foot climbing wall</li>
<li>Four racquetball courts and one squash court</li>
<li>50-meter competition pool, diving well, and spa with seating for more than 1,900</li>
<li>Leisure pool with six lap lanes, 184’ water slide, free play area, current channel,
16-person spa</li>
<li>Multipurpose gym with courts for basketball, volleyball, badminton, and fencing.</li>
<li>Three studios for aerobics and self-defense courses, all wired for sound.</li>
<li>Auxiliary court for indoor soccer, roller hockey, dodgeball and more.</li>
<li>6.7 laps/mile indoor running track overlooking the gymnasium</li>
<li>Satellite fitness area overlooking Atlanta’s skyline</li>
<li>Outdoor fields for flag football, soccer, ultimate frisbee, lacrosse, softball and more.</li>
<li>Two sand volleyball courts</li>
<li>The Wilderness Outpost for outdoor recreation equipment rental, water and land trip information, and resources for local outdoor recreation.</li>

<p>Participants in the Flashpoint program have access to <a href="http://library.gatech.edu/">Georgia Tech's Library</a> and media resources. You'll need to get a <a data-toggle="tab" href="#Buzzcard">Buzzcard</a> first.</p><br>

<h3>How to Get a Buzzcard</h3>
<p>As a participant in Flashpoint, you become a Georgia Tech affiliate. This means you are entitled to a Buzzcard, or Georgia Tech ID. The Buzzcard allows you to access the building and Flashpoint space during off hours and use University resources like the library. You should try to get your Buzzcard as soon as possible.</p><br>
<p>To have a Buzzcard issued:</p><br>
<ol>
<li>Please download and complete a <a href="http://ohr.gatech.edu/sites/default/files/documents/hiringpacket-affiliate.pdf">Personal Data Form</a> (Pages 1 - 4), <a href="http://ohr.gatech.edu/sites/default/files/documents/background_disclosure_authorization_form.pdf">Background Disclosure Authorization</a>, and a <a href="http://ohr.gatech.edu/sites/default/files/documents/backgroundinfoform.pdf">Background Information Form</a>. You should hand deliver a copy of the forms to a member of the Operations Team.</li>
<li>Once the Personal Data Form has been submitted, you need to wait for Human Resources to process it. This process takes about 1 - 2 weeks.</li>
<li>You will be informed by the Operations Team when your form has been processed. Once processed, visit the Buzzcard Center. The Buzzcard Center is located across the street from Flashpoint (48 5th St. NW, 2nd Floor Atlanta, GA 30332), directly above the Barnes and Noble. The cost of a Buzzcard is $30.</li>
<li>Bring your Buzzcard to the Operations Team in order to gain keycard access to the building's elevators and doors.</li>
</ol>

<h3>Interns</h3>
<p>Flashpoint teams sometimes find it helpful to recruit interns to support their work. These arrangements are a mutually beneficial. Teams secure access to talent and support that can help move their company forward. Interns get to experience what its like to work at a startup and access to the Flashpoint experience.</p>
<p>The Flashpoint program does not recruit interns or manage intern relationships, but we can point you in the direction of a few helpful recruitment channels.</p><br>
<h6 class="block-title m-b-0">Georgia Tech Career Buzz</h6><br>
<p>One way to find interns on campus is by using CareerBuzz, Georgia Tech’s interview and job posting management system. Detailed instructions for how to sign up and use the system are found here:</p>

<p>Students typically seek internship employment near the beginning or end of academic semesters.</p><br>
<h6 class="block-title m-b-0">Georgia Tech Link Program</h6><br>
<p>The Link Program is a student run program that connects students who have an interest in entrepreneurship with early stage companies in need of intern talent. We’ve scheduled a time for members of the program to visit Flashpoint. If you’d like to contact them independently, let me know.</p><br>
<h6 class="block-title m-b-0">Georgia State University Career Services</h6><br>
<p>If you’re interested in reaching out to students at Georgia State, describe the type of help you’re seeking using <a href=" https://flashpointgt.box.com/s/hyp4t2p472ui7hp9g0awkzveikhfbps4">this template</a> and submit it to Makesha Hillery, Coordinator of Cooperative Education and Internships (mhillery1 [at] gsu [dot] edu). The career services office will distribute the opportunity to a broad collection of students on campus.</p><br>

<h3>Lynda.com</h3>
<p>Lynda is an online subscription library that teaches the latest software tools and skills through high-quality instructional videos taught by recognized industry experts. Georgia Tech is now providing unlimited access to lynda.com to members of the Flashpoint community.</p><br>
<p>You'll need a <a data-toggle="tab" href="#Buzzcard">buzzcard</a> and login credentials in order to take advantage of the service.</p><br>

<h3>Parking</h3>
<p>Parking in midtown can be difficult, but as a part of the Flashpoint program you get access to Georgia Tech’s parking resources. In order to secure a parking permit, you first need to get a <a data-toggle="tab" href="#Buzzcard">Buzzcard</a>. Once you have a Buzzcard, visit the parking office, conveniently located on the ground floor of the Flashpoint building. The cost of a permit is about $100 per month.</p><br>

<h3>Printing, Scanning, and Copying</h3>
<p>We have a color laser printer (Canon MF8500C Series) that you can use if you have a need. It can also be used for scanning and copying. The printer is located at the amenity station near Merrick's office. It is not a replacement for Kinko’s or Office Depot. Use discretion.</p><br>
<p>The closest print shop is a <a href="http://bc139.kwikkopy.com/">Kwik Kopy</a> located in the Basement of the Biltmore (817 W Peachtree St).</p><br>
<h6 class="block-title m-b-0">Walk Up Printing</h6><br>
<p>You can print by connecting directly to the printer. Install the drivers for your operating system (found <a href="http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer/printers_multifunction/imageclass_series/color_imageclass_mf8580cdw">here</a>) before printing.</p>

<h3>WiFi</h3>
<p>To access the internet, use the GTvisitor network. We post the credentials near the entrance of the Flashpoint space.</p>
<p>In order order to avoid logging in each time you visit Flashpoint, we need some information on the devices you use. Please fill out the form found <a href="https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1yUgLsOLmiT3pW-j9Th5h2K7aK73Bl7g30efCQvagi6Y/viewform">here</a> for each device you plan to use on our network.</p>
